| How bout this for the picture contest? Here's what I did. 1. Brine bird overnight 2. Get coals ready 3. Smoke 10 hours mmmmm 1.brine.JPG 2:smoke.JPG 3:turkeyDone.JPG This was the first time I have ever smoked a turkey. I went about a hour too long as my thermo was broken. It was great though. I was a little scared to see the bird so black but this didn't matter. Wild turkey dinner in May, delicious.
