Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Smoked Bird

How bout this for the picture contest? Here's what I did.

1. Brine bird overnight
2. Get coals ready
3. Smoke 10 hours mmmmm

This was the first time I have ever smoked a turkey. I went about a hour too long as my thermo was broken. It was great though. I was a little scared to see the bird so black but this didn't matter. Wild turkey dinner in May, delicious.

Thanks, yeah the meat was great, really did fall apart. 10 hours between 180-210 will really do wonders!!
