Default Hello from WV

I just found this forum, it looks great!!!!! My buddy & I are trad bow guys. We are in the beginning stages of planning a 2009 DIY Merriams hunt. I settled upon Fort Robinson for the campsite, & the Ponderosa WMA is most likely where we'll be chasing birds. We've settled on driving up for a May 1-6 hunt, in hopes that the weather is more consistent. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks for your time, & be safe.

one thing about Nebraska esp. in the spring is the weather is never consistant. But if you don't like the weather just wait 5 min andit will change. This spring was crazy. So far it has snowed here 2 times in May. You did pick a good areea and should have goo success just hope and pray that the weather cooperates with you.

Talk to me next spring because I will be living up there and i might be able to give you a field report or ten on how the birds are doing.

Here's my number see if you can hold onto it. 304-542-8270 So the plan is this: May 1-8 Will camp & Fort Robinson, will hunt Ponderosa WMA, or the fort, or will adjust according to reports. This is a done deal, I'm making reservations next month. Thanks very much for the input, be safe.
