well I found a new place to hunt turkeys within 3 minutes of my house. If I can convince the landowner to let me hunt it tomorrow, it should be a good spot, because I saw some contest-winning toms there this afternoon.

well theres plenty of season left. I wish ida had the camera on these toms today, one beard was draging the ground and the others were pretty long as well. there were 5 total, one of them i think was a hen but the 4 toms were just massive. shotgun season cant get here soon enough!

Well I asked that guy about hunting today, I got permission, but he told me he doesnt see many turkeys around. I am thinking that it was kind of a one time deal that they were in this spot where I saw them. He told me that where I saw them wasnt exactly on his property either. He let us walk around his property, but didnt see anything turkey related, but I already found a tree to hang a deer stand. I think Im just going to stick with my place out in Blair, but me and my buddy are gonna go look around on sunday to see if we can find anywhere for him to stick a turkey.

well I got us on the board today. He was 26.4lbs 9 13/16 beard and 11/16 spurs

oooohhhh yeah. nice one boomer, i have the itch soo bad i call turkeys on my way to school. Me and my friend actually messed around with my psycho math teacher with my mouth calls and got her a little mad last week. She ended up blaming my friend Alex for it so its all good. Shotgun season cannot come soon enough!!
