| K9 from the tman site has been playing with his camera and I found this very interesting...more to come with fish as the attactant. Tom "My forst try at posting a trail cam video. The camera is the Scoutmaster sold by Cameron on here. Two PVC's at the waters edge, not angled in any way specific to bring the coon around one way or the other. PVC to the right is Stefs "Pro Coon" PVC to the left is Slim Pedersons "Trouble Finger" Coon went to the Pro Coon first but spent more time at the Trouble Finger. Lure is inside the tubes. I was surprised the coon did not dig his feet into either tube, like they do on my line. However on my line I always have some fish down the tube, and that might be the difference. There is really nothing to reach for in these tubes that would cause a coon to dig at them, just the smell of the lure. This pond is loaded with frogs etc, and is surrounded by corn. Lot's of food source for this coon. here is my take on what happend...what is yours? Looked to me like the same amount of time and movement at each pipe and and that the pipe had as much to do with the coon's curiosity as anything. Will be interesting to see how the coon reacts to fresh fish...oh and both sets would have taken the critter, good heavy foot placement right where the trap would have been...Thanks for posting, will be watching for your next one. Tom

| Here is day two and K9's comments.... Have been extremely busy but went out this AM and checked my camera. Same setup, Procoon on right Toruble Finger on left, but Rich Kaspars ground fish added to both tubes. I would have caught these coon in a foothold trap but not a griz. I have come to the conclusion that these are not hungry coons, and am anxious to see if there is a difference when it gets colder and they are putting on fat. I truly thought they would work the tubes more agressively then they are. Both lures get some attention, but they did not dig at the fish as well as I thought they should. K9

| K9 posted that the rains washed away the peanut butter/marshmellow bait he had out. He replaced it and will see how that bait does. Tom
