Default What sunglasses do you wear?

Was wondering what sunglasses you all wear when bowfishing. Do you think an expensive pair can help you more than a cheaper pair? I recently purchases a pair of Solar Bats with the Mossback lense. They claim you'll see fish that you've never been able to see before with your normal polarized lense. I need every advantage I can get.

I use wally world. Just because I'm poor though. Have found yellow lenses help much more than the other colors. Would really like to invest in a decent pair though. You'll have to let us know how you like those muddy.

Will do. I'm jazzed to give 'em a go. Need to get me a good lanyard so they don't fall off my face when leaning over to grab a fish.

Obert, Solar Bat also makes a lense that has the Mossback plus the yellow built into one lense so you have the best of both worlds. Check it out. Kinda cool.

I have more than one pair in the Mo. I think at least 2 are at the bottum by Gavins and quite a few down river as well. But that's another reason I buy walmart b/c I will lose or break them at some point. I don't keep sunglasses very long.. I try to be careful, I really do.

I won a pair at the Carp-o-rama last year, if it wasnt for that I would still be using the cheapos. The only advantage I really see over the cheapos is everything is abit more crisp, can see fish the same.

The yellow or amber lenses are by far the best color. The Mo river Grassies showup like a big green SHOOT ME sign, the commons GLOW. In spots with a sandy bottom and good water clarity the bottom really lights up and its easy to pickout shadows.

Im with Josh on this one. I always have a couple pairs. I got amber, yellows, and greys of the wally world ones. They always do me good and I lose about 4 pairs a year. I couldnt handle taking care of an expensive pair.

My cuz has a pair of Oakleys and they suck ass. They dont even have polarized.

used a pair of Cabelas polarized last year but put on a pair of Tifosi's a couple of times with the Amber lenses and really liked what i saw, fish were very crisp in the water and on those cloudy days they really brought the fish out better then my cabelas brand , So i bought myself a pair of Tifosi's with interchangeable lenses for the year!!!!!
and they are really not that expensive...they're only like 80 bucks at Full Draw in omaha!!!!

the tifosi's are the ones that Josh and James won at the carp-o-rama last year. I got a pair of yellow lens tifosi's at the end of last season and they were very nice. I really like the yellow lenses. They are a good pair of glasses for the money.

SolarBat - Polarization
I just happened to stumble into this conversation in time to post when asked.

I bought the Solar Bat Al IZ in the color that muddy river posted here with the gradient change from Mossback green to High contrast yellow. I have been wearing them for a week and packaged them up and sent them back today. I really liked the frames (solid aluminum) and I really liked the High contrast yellow, but I found the mossback green to be too dark. I spent the weekend driving around and looking into different waters trying to test them out and was constantly tilting my head back to see through the yellow at the bottom of the lenses and not the green in the top half.

So, hopefully they have good customer service and will get me the frames back soon with a new lenses in the amber color, which has always been my color of choice, but I really do like the high contrast yellow as well.

Fantastic. Glad to hear the mossback is too dark. Why couldn't you have posted this a while back? Oh always me. Hmmmm....what to do. Guess I'll wait 'til I get 'em and see for myself. I could always return 'em.
