    Default Muddy Missouri

What is the latest on the big muddy? With the water coming down is it getting any clearer or are we still talking liquid goo?

Was on it down south here yesterday. Pretty damed muddy, but still managed to have the barrel overflowing with fish. Get out there & get after it. It's good...
Prolly can't get a pic posted but wound up w/ 32 fish in the boat after bout 6 hours of fishing.

    Thank you Sir.

I am taking one of BON's corporate sponsors on the river on Wednesday. Good to hear a solid report.

I think it's better the farther south you go. We've had a lot of rain runoff up here and that takes time to settle after it comes out of the dam. I wish they would just bump it up and get rid of the water so we can shut the gates already. Not great visibility up here and water is hot. I don't know how the fishing was this past weekend since I opted for beer and burgers instead of fishing. I keep hoping Rich will tell us how it was.

The river has been "bumped up" to summer level for a few weeks now. The latest information now says a broken turbine in the powerhouse is why they are using the gates to keep the output at correct levels.

I was also told,... "You'll know it is fixed when they close the gates"

Yup, 32 was what we got in the boat. Had 4 or 5 we stuck that didn't get in the boat...
There was alot of foam & trash & such on the water, looked like it musta rain'd up north. Bout time you guys get some of that moisture. We've been getting rain after rain after rain down here all spring/summer.

We had a great day on the river. I ended up going further north than I really wanted, but that was what worked best for him. This was Mr. White's first chance to shoot anything other than common carp and I believe he stuck an even dozen grassers.
