Just got back

Got back late last nite pretty slow but those of you who have been to the tournaments with me probably figured that ...amazing but I can even shut down a river of that size lol...did see something pretty cool though a pod of about 50-60 spoonie`s check out pics....like I told James last nite tired and sunburnt and didnt get much shootin` but cant wait to go back just wish it was less than 5 1/2 hrs...man those spoonies are cool though

Very cool I have rarely ever seen them swimming on top like that. Only by the dams really. That was worth the trip right there. Can we actually shoot them with a bow during season with a tag?

Looks like I need to apply for tags next year and see if I can get me one up there. Just read through the fishing handbook again. Those things can get confusing with the rules that apply to other rules.

I'm sure everything has changed now since they opened the gats up like that. Hopefully not too bad and hopefully the dikes aren't bad down river this year.

I heard that those guys did good, as usual I guess! I think they know that strech as good as anybody. Seen some pics of some pretty huge ones they got this year. Seems like everytime they poundem. We was gonna go up with them, but went the other direction instead. And yea Skaggs, Dave was sure jealous of that "Wall hanger" of a fish you shot

Yep, and motoring through holes with a shooter on the deck like they were looking for Pads.

Yeah, it was knda funny.

We were drifting downriver and I saw them headed up. After not seeing ANY fish, not even hardly any paddles, in the holes downriver we headed back up to where we found fish earlier in the day. They were parked fishing at the extreme upriver edge of the hole so we were gonna troll in and drift the foamline starting bout 100yards downriver of em to give em some space. As we were drifting acrossed the bar maybe 75 yads from the dropoff they motored out, did afew cookies with the shooter up front then went and parked again...seemed like kind of a F-U. Shot afew fish and ran out of fish so we went back to drift it again. Again they motored out when we got to about the same spot amd left, except this time they ran the foamline and reved thier motor in and out as they left...took almost a hour for the fish to start to come back up again.

Sooner or later they are gonna catch somebody with a bad attitude or in the wrong mood.
