2008 Democrat National Convention Last Night

Did any of you catch any of this. I didn't want to watch it but I did for a while......All I can say is it made me SICK! Billary was up there spewing off about Bush and the supreme court being to far to the right and how they had to fix it. BLAH BLAH BLAH There is way to much to list but I am shocked at the way they "think" it should be. It sounds to me like the end of the Good Old USA if they get there way.

That's my 2 cents on it, what do you think?

I listened long enough, the wife watched it all the way through. Seems she is proud of being a daughter, a mother, a senator, etc etc....but no mention of being proud to be a wife????.....Tom

I'm glad that I live in the great state of Nebraska and this state will always vote Republican! Neither one of the canidates will be decent president though IMO...can we keep the current president for a few more years???

I watched it. Basically the same old promise that something will be done. Problem is, no one can explain why, when or how. I really thought that the dems were going to come up with a much better candidate this year. Someone who wasn't afraid to cross party lines and do some good for this country. In all honesty if the Dems would have got someone like that I think it would have been a landslide.

Worst president? I thought since the new hurricane evacuation went so smoothly that GWB would be the new hero? I mean it was 100% his fault w/Katrina, doesn't he deserve all the credit for Gustov (sp) success?

Yeah I was proud of him that he didn't go on vacation the day it hit like he did last time. Remeber the photo of him looking out the plane? Must not have had as much brush to clean up on the ranch this year.

No need to worry since Mccain Picked Palin. She had me at hello. She is a strong amazing woman that is one of us. She is not one of the Washington cronies and a down to earth person. Palin is getting my vote as well as MCCAin.

I think he knew exactly what he was saying....
