Default Duck Stamps/License for the entire season

Hunting takes a lot of work. I enjoy most of the technical and grunt work that hunting takes. I wouldn't do it if I didn't. I also hunt in Iowa and Missouri when I get a chance. Iowa and Missouri DNR are not perfect but they do a couple of things I prefer over Nebraska.
In Iowa your hunting license is good for the entire season. You don't have to go out and buy a new one on New Years Eve. Make sense to me. I guess the pheasants didn't know it was a new year so the DNR called it good. Missouri allows for a one day or three day license. Works for me. I don't get down there that often.
Now for the Duck Stamp. How much sense does it make to have the dates so confusing that you could end up thinking it was good for the year that was printed on it and end up with a ticket? Oh wait it expires in June! what a great idea. Must be a government thing. And let's make access to these stamps only through the Post Office and it will only be open after most guys get off work. Nice. I did find a website where you can order a duck stamp and have it mailed to you.
Well thanks for putting up with my whining. I'll try not to make a habit of it.

Not whining if you are making a valid point. Tom
