The first pic was this morning showing the runoff from a cornfield. I took the second two pics over the lunch hour 1/2 mile south of the Elkhorn. Note the mailbox in the 3rd pic.

Thankfully most of NE escaped with pretty minimal damage, though some weren't so fortunate. I filmed the Kearney torando and subsequent powerflashes before racing South to catch the action near the NE/KS boarder, this is some video of tornadoes near the town of Glen Elder...

Couple video Grabs of the Kearney storm as well, the tornado was hard to make out as it was just a dusty tornado and spent much of its life wrapped up in the rain...

We are in the bullseye as of late, today was pretty meager (though I did film a brief tornado near Ulysses) The flooding I'm afraid could get kind of bad provided all this rain on already saturated soil. The bad news, tomorrow is the big show.... Keep eyes and ears glued to media outlets tomorrow (I guess its today now) as it appears a pretty widespread severe weather event is on the way for practically all of Eastern NE....

That was an amazing storm. We had ping pong sized hail in Millard and tons of rain.

Took this pic on Wed. night of a wall cloud that formed and went right over Kearney. I was out spotting at work. It had some weak rotation with it but nothing serious. By listening to the scanner, it sure had some people worried though.

Any reports or pictures from the recent storms around Omaha?

I'd like to see some too. I left Omaha just in time. Ran into the north part of the storm near Herman. Couldn't see a thing driving wind and rain were blowing so hard. Everyone have electricity yet?

I asked her If I could help her in order to speed things up. She told me she was trying to check her 'balance'. I pushed her and she fell down.-----not very good balance.
