| Looks like there is the possibility for the first significant severe weather event this season. Areas of SCNTRL NE are most at risk, storms should fire in the Arapahoe area during the Evening and increase in coverage and spread east across the state throughout the night. I will be out chasing, though may end up targeting areas of KS, where the tornado threat maybe a little higher. Regardless there is the threat for Large Hail (up to baseball, strong winds, and even Isolated tornadoes tomorrow) Depending how much time I get while on the road tomorrow, I may try to post an update, otherwise I will try to post an update or two on my site Welcome to SevereChase.com Just don't be surprised to see tornado watches issue for the SCNTRL portion of the state later this evening... Keep and eye to the sky!!!

| I know you guys down south most likely dont really care to much about our weather here. But here goes, flood warming all day here today due to heavy rain maybe up to 3", then Friday thru Saturday they say we might get 5+" of new snow! But dont worry i have my arc built and ready to sail.

| Dustin, I was kind of looking forward to picking some shrooms this weekend. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to change the forecast for me. Please make it 50+ at night and 70-75 during the day, bright and sunny w/little wind. If you have time... Thanks!

| Hey Obert, you've taken my advice and kept that white stuff out that way. This weather is crazy. I saw that one of the towns that I enjoyed while in college got hit by a possible tornado last night. Just plain nuts. |

| Tornadoes and snow. Nebraska! I've already gotten to pull one genious out of the ditch. He was very lucky it was just the ditch and not the car he was heading for. I don't worry about driving in this kind of weather, but other people scare me..

| Sorry, yesterday got quite busy, I ended up chasing the Tornado Warned storm in Kansas from West of Hill City all the way East to near Concordia and didn't get home until about 4 last night. Not sure that snow up North will be great for the Mushrooms as it can't help ground temps. This weekend doesn't look all that nice anyway, according to a quick glance at the models, it looks like the temp gradient across the state will be pretty extreme. These Links will only be valid until about 9 Tonight Saturday Highs http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/mode...r_sfc_temp.gif Sunday Highs http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/mode...r_sfc_temp.gif And it looks like pretty much no portions of the state will see low temps above 40.... Here is a couple pics of a wall cloud with yesterdays storm, ![]() ![]() Next Chance for SVR WX looks like it will come next week around the May 1st time period, Its still a long ways out and can change but it currently looks like the threat may be just to the South of NE however...
