| Sorry for opening this discussion pretty late, I have been busy chasing storms down in the OK & TX area, while trying to keep up with school work. But as most who will be significantly impacted probably already know, a Spring Snowstorm will leave a wide swath of 6+" across a wide area, extending from the Mountains through W NE into NCNTRL NE through SD and into MN. Winter storm warnings have been posted across a good chunck of W and NC NE, and in S SD where 10+" will combine with strong winds, Blizzard warnings are posted. Could make for some interesting Turkey Hunting. Let us know how much snow you have and the conditions at your place, and if you have any pics of the snow, please share!! | If it is snowing in Oneill I think it will be here before we know it. Seems like every time I walk outside to look here it gets colder. Has been raining pretty steadily since 9am. I never get a snowday, one of the negatives of living across the highway from work.. -can't come to work

| Deepening low pressure is just now lifting North into E NE from KS, until this pushes East out of the region, the snow will continue, most areas seeing snow know will likely see it well into the night. The low pressure, centered now over the Hebron NE area will continue to deepen and this Counter-Clockwise rotation is wrapping some dry air into the system, which is why much of SE and E NE has seen a end to the heavy rain, though this will probably fill back in a little bit through the evening. It all depends on how much this dry air really wraps into the system, but it currently looks as though the heaviest of the snow will remain North and West of a Broken Bow-Burwell- O'Neill line. Winds if they haven't already, will pick up west to east through the remainder of the day, especially across NCNTRL NE.

| I would say that we have close to 5 inches on the ground. Very heavy and wet. Making a mess of all roads right now. NPPD had a line go down between Ainsworth and O'Neill that took out power to just about everyone East of Ainsworth.

| We got about 3.5-4 in Elyria(SE of Burwell bout 8 miles) It rained a bunch before the snow started. Hopefully all that moisture will help out the sandhills pop. of ducks and geese. |

| Exactly what I thought when I heard 10-12 inches in SD- fill up those potholes before nesting!
