Another Shot at Snow 12/14

Areas of Southern NE will see another shot at snow during the overnight and early morning hours of Saturday. Some areas south of I-80 could wake up to an additional 4" of the white stuff on the ground, some areas near and just south of the NE/KS boarder can't completely rule out waking to as much as 6". Areas North of I-80 should see nothing more then a dusting. Latest indications are that the snow could start over SCNTRL NE as early as late this afternoon though Models don't have snow falling until the 9 p.m. hour this evening, so if your in SCNTRL NE don't be surprised to see some flakes flying this evening though most of the snow will fall during the early morning hours. Most areas of Southern NE will probably see around 2", the closer to the KS boarder the better your chances of seeing more snow.

Things then look to quite down, we should remain dry through at least the next 6 days or so. The Long range models are hinting at a system making its way through the Rookies by later next week though that is still much to far out to forecast at this point.

Finally,....we missed one.......only a dusting up in Cedar County.
