Congrats.. Not sure what options they have on them but the new ones I looked at over at bass pro were pretty sweet..They were a side consol with built in fuel tank too.

Not sure what your going to do for a blind, but the one that came with the boat I purchased was from these guys..

Pop-Up Blinds: Boat blinds, Portable blinds, Lay-down blinds

They are now located in iowa some place. They also created a cover for it too which I needed to redo (lost water repellant). The blind folds down then the cover goes around it to prevent the wind from ripping it to shreds when towing it.

For the boat cover I had pyramid canvas in Columbus make a new one for the boat and they did a decent job and at a VERY reasonable price too.

I'll give you a ring later this week..

Changed my mind I just pulled the trigger on a 1860 G3 with a 90 hp 4 stroke Yahama. I got a better trailer than the one offered by Basspro with the package and I saved thousands if I were to get a Mercury 4 stroke motor. Don't get me wrong the grizzly's a good boat I just thought I got more for my $$ by buying the G3 package should be getting it ready soon and assuning my house closes on friday as scheduled I see no glitches.

Seth

me and a buddy built the platform. I am running a 80lb minkota edge. The edge sucks. Don't buy the Edge. If I was going to do it again I would get a 80lb bow mount tiller. I think the tiller steer would be the cats ass for bow fishing. But if you want to go with a foot troller I would recomend the maxium line from minkota, they are a bunch better than the edge. You will definately want to go with a 24 volt system at least 80 lb thrust.

I have learned a lot of things this summer about building a bowfishing rig. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

the 55 would move the boat, but it wouldn't fight the current or work worth a damn in the wind. These are big wide boats that like to drift all around in the breeze. The 55 will work, but you will be way more happy with more motor!!

NEHONKERS's G3 is a real good boat! You won't be dissapointed in your selection Seth. Another boat that's out on the market that i will lok into are the Tritons aluminum line. They "LOOK" like a good boat. We'll have to investigate. Have fun in that new boat!

If I was a guy that likes his toys, I wouldnt think of getting nothing less than a 101 pound thrust riptide, tiller steer...tiller gives you alot better control and a quicker response time in the river.
