We were shocked to see him we first thought what the heck is that. We were setting up for geese on the Elkhorn and he turned up. I assume someone released him the year or two prior and he found his way over to our property.

nice chicken. They raise those out here near Stanton. My uncle got one mounted too.

Looking at all your mounts. VERY COOL all around. Nice work.

Can I ask who did most of them?

There is one that hangs out up on my spring turkey ground. He has a ringneck hen for a mate. The best part about the rooster we have up there is he is more a pet then anything else. Every year while we are up there he always walks up to the truck to see what is going on and get a treat. I tried to get a picture of him eating out of my dads hand, but I ended up taking it at a wrong angle and had a ton of glare from the sun. As for the hen she runs for the hills ever time she see's us. Nice thing about up there is not one person is willing to shot him so to how mild natured he is.

Matt

It came from the Werner property north of you about 2 miles; we've shot 3 in the past few years.
