Out today

Eric twisted my arm this morning and we headed out despite the snow. Had to 4WD the last half of the ride to the lake,.... but we made it. Tried the good spot from the other day, and only managed one cat,...but he was a pretty nice one. Eric headed across the wilderness to another spot and scored on some bass, and a cat and crappie I'm thinking. He's got more pics on his camera.

I was fearing the skunk when I bailed outta spot one! All fish in that area might have had sore mouths from Whisker last week

Managed a couple bites on the jig-n-rap in spot 2, and my best fish today came on that lure. We earned every bite we got with the mileage we hiked. Here's my pics

Man,...after that walk and dragging the stuff through that snow, I feel about 106 years old today.

i would be more willing to go ice fishing if my hand auger did a little more work! my next investment for future ice fishing expiditions is definitely a power auger...just dont have the money right now
