 Re: ice fishing Well I used the spud bar and man it was easier then the hand auger. The hand auger is a good device if your tall or have an adjustable height auger. I was tired after cutting through 8 inches of ice with hand auger but it does take some muscle to use the spud bar but ya make short work of a hole. i think I would use a spud bar over a hand auger. I have a video od Eric using the spud bar I will have to post that later.

| Re: ice fishing Obert needs to stand on a bucket, and dizzle needs to dig a hole to stand in,.....gosh dang them pesky 'ol hand augers anyway.  After one day,...I ain't touchin another one unless it smells like gas!
