My buddy and I hit the ice today trying to beat the weather. Seems like we always catch something if we hit the last nice day before a front comes through, today was slower than we'd anticipated. I chose to sit it out in an area even though it started slow, and the buddy chose to move far and wide in an attempt to find active fish. All I can say is, it's good to be lucky once in a while

I only got one rod pulled through the ice today, I grabbed quite a few outta the hole just in time

It wasn't pretty...wait an hour or more, then all the sudden a pole launches into a hole...I only managed about half the fish that bit but most of the bites were just like that...
This one started the day
Next fish still hadn't convinced me this was the spot...
An hour plus had passed before the next bite, well worth the wait
Here's a nice bass that posed a minute with today's eaters before release
By this time I'd rounded up the buddy but the fishing gods were punishing him
Last bite of the day
