| i tried to find a bare patch of ice to put him on but the snow was blowing and blanketed it. i had to kick through the snow to find him. caught it in about 4-5 feet of water in some random hole i drilled

| yeah the flashers working great. still have yet to drop it in on top of fish. most of the fish I have caught have come toward the bait as i drop it in. its a great feeling though. that 8.5" gill was lookin at my jig for about 5-10 minutes and i worked on him for that long. i tried a couple different jigging techniques and found the one that worked. i felt pretty accomplished. still have yet to find the school of crappies though that i can pull out one after the other!
