First of all what area of the state are you from? I do know a few people who do raise chukars but they are alittle picky about selling them.

the nearest place I have come across chuckars to you would be in Elm Creek. Maybe the hunting outfit in Eustis has some?

Get ahold of Martin's in Elm Creek. I know he raises chukars for a hunting operation out there. Let him know you are wanting them for training a dog.

The guy I know in Elm Creek is Delos McKee. Hard guy to get a hold of, but he will sell you what ever he can. Don't have his number handy, but just look it up on whitepages.com.

Not sure about the guy in Eustis. I do not know if he raises birds or buys them from somewhere. Do not have his name either. Sorry!

There is also a bird man down in Bertrand, south of Holdrege. I guided a hunt last year with his birds. Best pheasants I have ever seen that are pen raised. Not sure about chuckars. He may only raise pheasants. Do not have his name either.

I am sure you could call a gas station or co-op and find out who to talk to. Small towns, so everyone knows everyone.
