Goose133 I'd contact 'em- They may have made a mistake, cuz you should have earned a pref. pt. in 2007 and got a tag before guys like us. They screwed up my paddlefish archery tag a few years back, and I did a pile of complaining on the old NGPC site. A guy from the licensing office saw my complaint and contacted me. He took my info and checked it out, and I got the tag.

I talked to the guys at the game and parks and from the sounds of it nobody this year would have a preference point and starting this year people would recieve a preference point for not getting a permit...

Dang! No permit for me this year. I think I get a preferance point for next year though.

Well they took my 21 bucks, but I can't check the email address I put down because that site has me locked out atm. I am just hoping seeing the 21 dollors gone from my checking account is a good sign. I wouldn't think they would take the fee's out if I didn't get drawn.

Obert I hope I drew. I got lucky and just got my app in 2 years ago right after getting back from Iraq. I have been hooked ever from that first day of snagging. I wasn't lucky enough to get 1 last year but if the game and parks taking the 21 bucks then that means a father son snagging trip. Because my dad also had 21 bucks with drawn today.

Don't feel too bad goose & Hail. I didn't get one a few years ago after I applied 3 yrs in a row. I had never drawn one previously & I got denied again this year also. Apparently my money is no good. Good luck to everyone else.
