Default Lots of Fun

Got out last night with Whisker, 2 Labs, My friend JD and his son and Myself. JD brought his 24 ft Pontoon Barge for us to fish on. This boat is alot of fun to fish on wide open on top and a ton of room for everything. Gets alot of funny looks though LOL. We started off trying for Bass and Whisker being in true form was the only one to score. We then concetrated on Catfish in another part of the lake. It was not real fast but enough to keep our interest. I lost 5 due to breakoffs. I know everyone else lost a few. We ended up with 8 Nice Cats. Chicken liver seemed to be the ticket with shrimp doing alright too. We were fishing with bobbers as the weeds were bad hanging the bait just above the weed bed at 3 ft below the bobber. It was a great night to be out calm with a full moon. First time I set the Bow Down and picked up a fishing pole all year. Would like to get after them one more time before Sept. 1. I think a Flathead hunt is in the to do list.
