| I swear, this shoot keeps getting better every year. Guys that still havnt came to this shoot dont really know what your missing. Ended up being 18 teams in the river division and I thought I heard 31 for the lake division. Maybe Force Feed will chime in on exactly who won what and correct things I got wrong when he has time. We were in the river division so I will give my take on the day... Blast off was at 7, was kind of a mad house and am actually kinda suprised nobody got rammed. RNTMVP had the lead heading up river and kept it until he moved out of sight from me. We went to the hole I found the big school of bigheads in the other day and they were nowhere to be found. So we headed upriver and started drifting for Grass Carp. The early morning Grassies were really spooky, we didnt boat our first fish til almost 10...yes I was getting nervous. But from then til about 12:30 we had pretty consistent action. After that there were so many damn pleasure boaters out it made things alot tougher then it should have been...it was almost constant boat traffic at times.Had acouple memorable shots today...1st was the wife made a awsome shot on a Buff that was hauling butt, another was Mini and Me doubling on Grassies. But honestly my favorite shot was a shot at a gar I could barely see and ended up killing 2 with 1 shot. We ended up taking 4th, AGAIN, with 21 fish. Yellab and partner edged us out of 3rd with I THINK 24 fish. 2nd went to Kent(full Draw) and partner with 31 fish, plus they had big fish, and 1st went to ??? with 37 fish. Dont know the lake division places so I wont post em. Here is a pic of Mini-me posing with some of the pile of dead invasives. ![]() Now he thinks he is tough holding up a 30 pound Bighead.

| ya h8r it was a great time, and it looked like the river divison was even better. IT was a beatiful day out, and good fishing if you like shooting at spooky fast 2lb commons. I did pretty good at the raffle though, and im looking forward to that spring snow hunt i won with you and a big thanks to Big ISland waterfowl. it should be a blast. The one thing i realized is that i have to get my equipment and boat set up for the river. |

Our day more or less was similar to Gooseh8r's. We started the morning with everybody taking off at the same time and then we went to a few spots where we had seen fish on Saturday. Fish were real spooky and difficult to see with the low sun and glare. We did manage a common and a grassie between 8 and 9 and then had our only bighead of the day before 10, but then we went through a dryspell until about 11. When we finally started finding grassies and had about 30 minutes where we shot probably close to 50 arrows into the water and came up with NOTHING! We both were getting frustrated and ticked off, so we moved out of the hole, ran up river a mile or so and just took a break and tied on some new arrows. Might have had a barley pop as well. Then we went back in and shot pretty consistent up to about 2pm, lots of misses but we were on the fish so we had lots of opportunities. Then from 2 till 3:30 we didn't kill a fish and were covered up in pleasure boaters. Then the worst part of the whole day. We got back into the fish again and had 4 of the last 5 fish pulled off at the boat, which would have put us in second place. Started the motor at 3:50 and made it to the ramp with 4 minutes to spare. |

| I agree with you guys, what a blast! My first tourney ever and I will keep coming back. I think we ended up with 10 fish, not sure where we finished, 6th or 7th I was told? We should of had more, but are troller had ahard time out in the current. Still found enough fish in the back waters to make it fun! And Yellab, you must of had a lay over in Blair? I passed you on my bike, about 6:00 this morning on the way out out of town. Good to see all you guys. Ran in to quite afew old freinds, which was awesome! I did notice you when you passed me out by Dillon's, of course I didn't know who you were at the time. Yeah, I have been known to "lay-over" in Blair on a regular basis. |

| Day was an absolute blast, however i know Ill be putting the platform on here soon. Me and my brother shot the lake division. Didnt know what to expect as we had never even been there before. I think we took off 22nd out of 31 teams. Got on the water and had two in the boat right off the bat. Buddy told me of a few spots to find buffs but that proved to be wasteful as we didnt see a single buff all day Ended weighing 14 fish good enough for 4th place. Commons were spawning pretty hard on the lake, but 40 yards of flooded cattails makes it tough to get where they are. Not to mention commons in that lake are the size of goldfish. Had 12 fish pulloff arrows, so its hard not to think what if. Definately a great experience and I encourage all to participate in next years two day. |

| Well it was a good weekend, even though the conditions on the lake weren't as good as they could have been. It's perty frustrating to see a massive orgy going on in the cat tails that you can't get too. I did win the trolling motor at the end, so that was very nice. On to the bad news... this afternoon while leaving for work I was just in time to see my little brother run into my brand new 50 hp mercury on my new boat, with his Jimmy. It busted the skeg off and who knows what all is wrong. Hopefully it's just the skeg and didn't screw up anything inside of the motor. Sorny |

| OH MAN...Talk about beat down. ![]() If you have insurance on your boat it should cover it. Im pretty sure it can be fixed though.
