For those of you attending the calamus shoot I will be accepting gas donations so I could possibly attend the huntingne tourney...Just kiddin` these gas prices suck !!!

Gas prices are bad but they dont get to me as bad until I fill up the small 2.5 gallon tank I keep in my boat in case of emergency...$10 to fill that little thing up.

Saturday 84 degrees s wind 10-15 mph Evening thunder storms.

I hope its a shoot till your figers bleed type of day. At least if my fingers hurt I wont feel my butt hurt as much with these gas prices.

Shot Calamus this weekend. High sun and nearly NO WIND, and oh yeah, THE SPAWN IS IN FULL SWING. Carp were really getting their freak on (as well as another couple down by the boat ramp that I had no choice but to listen too.)

Millions of 1.5 pound fish to be shot.(Shoot, Reel, Shoot, Reel, Shoot Reel, rest, drink beverage, Shoot, Reel, Shoot, Reel, Shoot, Reel, Rest, Drink Beverage, Shoot, Reel. etc. etc. etc.) If your picky you can find fish up to about 6 pounds with a very occasional 7 pounder and a once a day 8 pounder.

Saw a nice little Musky and also a Pike that would have weighed 12 pounds or better (obviously didnt shoot them).

How high was the water when you shot there?

That is a nice place. We usually stay at the rodeo inn, very nice rooms and owners. Both are great for the price.

We're staying at the Burwell Lodge on Friday. We all should meet up for drinks Friday after the Calcutta.

We called all over to get a room. Burwell lodge had 1 room left and we snagged it. If it came down to it we would have pulled one of these

weather looks good for tomorow and for the shoot on saturday. 80 degrees and winds under 10 for saturday We should be good, or at least a lot better than last year.

Any of you guys that went to the tourny come through Ord on the way home last evening and meet a big red sprayer? If you did you should have waved cause that was me. Just thought I would ask because I did meet someone pulling a boat with a shooting platform when I came though town about 8 pm.
