Stingrays

Thought some of you would like to see the pics from my stingray hunt last weekend. The round one is a southern stingray and the one with triangular wings is a cow nose ray.

Nice! Have you tried to eat one yet? I was wondering how they tasted?

Did you get to shoot any other species of fish?

The southern rays are better eating then the cownose. Very bland though so the breading is the key. we also shot needlefish, and dog shark

Went to Virginia for them. Great weather and good people and lots of seafood. It was a great trip. I wrote a short story about it that will be part of the Bowfishers of Nebraska's first newsletter. I hope some of you will consider joining the B.O.N. if you join now your membership will be good until December 31st of next year.
