Ty, Entrance fee is $40 per team plus $10 for big fish. Payout is 90% to top 3 numbers of fish and remaining 10% goes to fish disposal.

And 3 man teams manditory is not a great idea. Two works good,...three in a boat, especially for the smaller boats gets way too cluttered. Teams should be left at 2 or 3 people (optional).
It was mainly discussed VIA pm between Obert, Yellab, and myself.

Teams are not mandatory 3 man teams, hell you could shoot by yourself.

Maybe this will help. Even though this is the Huntingne's first official tournament, I havent seen it posted on this website.

Josh posted this on a couple other sites.

June 14th

Registration and weigh-in is at the "Green Diamond" bar and cafe in St. James, Nebraska. St. James is about 20 miles SE of Yankton, Sd off of hwy12, its a tiny little town, the bar is about 1 of 4 buildings there.

Registration starts at 6:00am, and everyone takes off from there at 7:00am. This is designed to be a river shoot and you have your choice of many different ramps in the area to use...maps to ramps will be provided if needed. Weigh-in is at 5:00pm.

Entry fee is $40 per team, optional Big fish pot is $10. Most fish wins, payout down 3 places.

2 or 3 man teams. Decided allowing 3 man teams is a big plus when it comes to gas prices.

Checkout Hunting Nebraska or pm me for additional info.

I was hoping you would enter.

Ya might have some competition though...

Most of the guys I talked with about this were totally pumped about the timing of this shoot. And mentioned shooting 1000-1500 pounds of Bigheads is almost a daily affair if the weather cooperates.

Ya think they should be off the spawn by then? I'm expecting them to disappear for awhile any time now.

They may not be up by the dam but they will be up behind the bars.

From what I read the Bigheads will hold thier eggs until the river rises due to heavy rains. Plus they dont spawn 1 time a year, up to 3 times a year.

Looks like the river is making a jump today. Don't know if this means they're going to raise it for awhile ,...or if they're just piddling around again.

Hoping for the wind to drop tues. or wed.,.... I'll go have a "look". The commons are doing it on the little lake, but I get tired of messing with them.

Hey Guys,

We have set up an email account with the hopes of getting an idea of how many teams will be participating in the June 14th tournament out of St. James, NE.

To Pre-register, please send in your Team Name to HuntingNE.Shootout@live.com. Pre-registration is not required, but will help us manage the tournament better so it is greatly appreciated.

Corey
