I still have a case of bullets to burn on Snows so I my brain is elsewhere right now. Give me about a week and I will be in more of the fish shooting mindset.

Alright...since the geese are pulling no shows Im getting in the right mindset.

First things first...

I propose a meeting, with beverages and food of course, within the next few weeks for those that are interested in showing up.

We can throw around some ideas for shoot dates/places and what not.

One that I think that would go over pretty good is a online shoot. A numbers or points shoot...Points as in X ammount of points given for each species. Invasive species(Common, Grass, Bighead, and Silver Carp) will be given more points than native(Gar, Buffalo), and harder species to find/shoot will also be awarded more points(Silver carp).

Gooseh8r you sure are a busy man know aren't you. I like the idea of a Nebraska club and have a few ideas if you would like them. As far as tournies go we have 4 here in NE already it would be nice to get the folks running them on board. I would have no problem working with a state org for the Carp-O-Rama. As a matter of fact the river division of the tourney is already the spot for the BAA state champions.

I love NBA and NWTF-but have never been really crazy about the banquets either. I'd rather do hands on stuff! Thats why I love the jamboree and the JAKES and WITO events. Just want to shoot!!!!

Huntress

Places to go huh? well DeSoto is good, all the wing dikes on the river are good. If you have a boat any oxbow lake and for that matter any lake in NE or IA< KS or MO. Just check local DNR for carp and buffalo populations in local waters. May and June are the best times here in NE and most of IA. If your bored and want ot go sometime let me know.
