 homemade boats posted this one in the fishing completely disregarding the boat forum! anyone had any experience building their own jon boat? i have thought about it and decided it would be a really fun project. if anyone has done it or is in the process let me know. im tryin to decide how to go about getting the materials and plans (if anyones got any plans and measurements let me know). i have found a couple of websites that sell them for like 25 bucks a pop, but im really set on gettin one of these little jon boats built for some of the no wake lakes here in the metro area. let me know! zach
