Default New Splash Guards

I am thinking about getting a new kicker motor for my boat and will need to get a new set of splash guards. I run White Caps now but want something different this time around. What are some other brands that are out there?

Thanks,

I have wave wackers on my boat and really like them, they are a little more expensive than white caps but I feel they are a little more durable. Wave Wackers Backtrolling Splash Guards has contact info but that is about it. You have to give them make model etc and they custom make them for your boat.

I am waiting on a price quote from Wave Wacker. I think they look more durable than the white caps. I'll need something durable if I get this T8 Yamaha kicker that I am looking at cause I'll be a backtrolling fool.

I would also recomend the Wave Wackers, I have had 4 different sets in the past. They are very durable and easy to install.

C&E,
Please Shoot me a PM when you get your estimate. I would like to know what the approx. cost is. I was thinking about a set of those as well because we backtroll quite a bit. Also, how did you contact them?

In my experience, the Whitecaps are hard to beat for durability and price. It all depends on the style I suppose but I didn't have good luck with the Wave Wackers and they cost more.

One more thing, if it's very windy, the T8 won't work very well for backtrolling unless you have a pretty small boat.

Whitecaps are ordered for the Tuffy. Great product and much less expensive than Wave Wackers, not that Wave Wackers aren't a good product, I just want to make sure that I get the most for my money.

I am not getting that T8 now since it has already been sold so I guess I'll stick with these whitecaps for now.
