| They laughed at me just as much when I owned one of those two seater's. Not too stable with 2 - 6' 3" 230 + pound guy's. I know I looked silly out there on that thing but it got me to the fish. They are good boats that get in tight places.

| Yeah those little 2 seat plastic boats are very unstable. One guy catches a fish and it can pull the boat around. Stick with a small metal canoe style or a 14' john boat. Also check the local boat stores since someone might be trading one in.

| Anymore, you can find older small 10 or 12 ft v-bottom alum. rowboats or jon boats for the same money. They are alot more comfortable & stable then the little plastic things. My neighbor sold one on auction last spring that was great, for under $200. It was a steal. Most will load just as easily as the plastic ones, in a PU. You might find one with a trailer cheap too. I would look for one of these. |

| Hey Zach my buddy might be selling his 14' flat bottom its painted up so if you would want to use it for duck hunting its ready to go. I don't know if he's selling it or not, one week he wants to then the next he doesn't. I can talk to him if you want me to. |

| I would check some local auctions or some garage sales this spring, great time to spend with the wife while picking up some extra tackle too!

| I own 4 boats, the largest being a 20' Mako. The one I use and Love the most is my 2-man plastic boat. You just cant get 2 people standing up dancing or anything.

| have a 12' 36" jon it ran me 500 with trailer fishfinder, radio, lights ect...I got it used boat runs 900.00, trailer 300.00, fishfinder about 200.00, lights another 50.00, the trolling motor ran me 400.00 the 9.8 outboard ran me 400.00. I have about 1300.00 in mine but it is stable with 2 guys and a ton of decoys and more than adequate for small lakes. Seth

| i have been looking around craig's list and some other places for flat bottom jon boats (that is really what i want). i was also thinking about building my own and customizing the inside with a platform and carpet and some compartments for lures, anchors, and ive got my flasher that i would rather use than a digital. i just need to either find a jon boat for 200-300 dollars or build one on my own.

| I just bought a 12' jon boat with a 6hp motor for $250. They are around and should start popping up for sale soon. I'll let you know if I run across anything again
