How about 'Bowfishers of Nebraska"

Here are the ideas that I had written down after last nights chat room discussion. They are in no particular order. We had 14 people come to the chat room I'm sure that those 14 have good ideas to be added.

1. Promote the sport of bowfishing in Ne.
2. Officers
3. Website
4. Name of Club
5. Statewide tournament organization
6. Membership Fees
7. Regional reps statewide
8. putting together a youth shoot
9. Bi-annual newsletter
10. Keep bowfishing records
11. Legalize night bowfishing
12. open restricted waters.

I would like to suggest we let the Nebraska Game and Parks keep the bowfishing records simply because they already do. Not all states recognize bowfishing records so were lucky that ours does.

As far as regional reps go it would be great if the website had a map of Ne and each members would have a pin on the map. Anyone wanting to be a rep in any region could just add their e-mail or phone to the pin on the map. If a newcomer had questions they could contact that member.

I do think once we are up and going our first mission should be to get the night bowfishing taken care of. I think most of us agree that is our number one goal. I do know that the other orgs. and the BAA will help anyway they can via e-mail and letters.

If anyone is going to Calamus this weekend look me up maybe we can come up with some other thoughts.
