Got the boat in the lake about 1:30 today. Buffs were cruising the banks pretty good. Shots were deep, most were over 4 foot. By 3:00 I was out of room in the barrel. Nothing was under 25 pounds with the biggest in the upper 30s.
This was the true test for the Barracuda. I woulda had a heckuva time keeping a arrow in those deep buffs with my recurve. Only lost 2 fish today, one was a headshot that got wrapped in the troller, the other was one that I didnt hit very well. |
